We ARe the Final Four
"Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and
give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it."

Our story began 15 months ago as a team of 12. We got to know each
other on the Sakai court and learned how to work together very quickly.
Our tough yet inspiring coach, Dr. KB, quickly put the plays into action.
There was no time to procrastinate! She dealt out the game plan for us
and we had to work together to win each play. As our opponents became
more challenging, many of our cadre mates could not continue to be a
part of our team. Thus, we became "The Final Four."
We come from different stages in our teaching careers, some having
already established our teaching styles and philosophies, others just
beginning their careers. We all had something valuable to learn, the
veterans and rookies. We cannot teach the way we were taught; the
rosters have changed and the game is not played the same. Our students
need us to reach them where they are and with tools with which they
are familiar. Please examine our work and see how well we have been
prepared; not just for the madness of March, but for September through
June!
